Base Price for Password Protector with images and owner's manual: $99.00 (USD). Optional program set up is included in the standard $99.00 price. Clients can chose to decline a free professional installation by not including FTP server information when registering an account after purchasing.

Program Requirements
Password Protector requires unix or linux servers with sendmail and htaccess activated.

Program Abbreviations
AdPass is an abbreviation of Ascad Networks Password Protector and is in no way related to advertising management. AdPass is a comprehensive member management and password protection CGI program written in PERL. All additional mentions of AdPass within this agreement refer to Password Protector.

Program Protection Systems
AdPass uses the industry standard htaccess/htpasswd technology to secure and protect directories and their contents.

Owner's Manual
Ascad Networks has created an in-depth product manual with all of the information needed to run and operate the program. Included within the manual is detailed installation information, a guide to user management, a guide to areas and protected files, information on receiving help, and a number of other miscellaneous topics that will help you better enjoy your AdPass experience.

Valid Indication of Features
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, I agree that Ascad Networks has properly informed me of the product that I am about to purchase through its demonstration and the documentation provided within the http://adpass.ascadnetworks.com/ web site. I fully understand the registration systems, log-in systems, administrative control panel systems, and protection systems. For any additional questions or uncertainties, I have created a support ticket with Ascad Networks or spoken to a representative and have received a satisfactory and understandable reply. Thus, by agreeing to these terms, I acknowledge that using the information provided through the sources named above I have informed myself about the features of AdPass and have resolved any other questions concerning it with Ascad Networks' staff.

Information Collection
Ascad Networks compiles a list of all sites currently using and operating with AdPass. This list is never publicly displayed and its contents do not include any sensitive information. The following information is what we collect (note that this information is only collected once): URL where the program is being used, your server’s operating hardware (I.E. Cobalt, Apache, etc.), and to whom the program registered.

Payment Information
Ascad Networks requires that all customers pay the full amount of their purchase before access is granted to a downloaded version of AdPass in the "ZIP" format. Registration is provided upon payment completion. All payments must be made using one of our secure online credit card gateways: 2CheckOut or PayPal. Once payment has been processed, users will be requested to create an account with Ascad Networks from which the product can be downloaded: Customers must create an account with Ascad Networks to download. Any problems creating this account should be reported to Ascad Networks through email. Contact sales@ascadnetworks.com with your full name and order confirmation number assigned by the payment firm that you used to complete your transaction.

Please be aware that Ascad Networks will never ask you for your credit card number and does not store this information on its servers. Furthermore, Ascad Networks is entirely unrelated to 2CheckOut and PayPal. All issues of suspected fraud or credit card theft due to this transaction, although very rare, should be reported directly to that credit card firm and your credit card company.

Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the service that we provide, all purchases made for a CGI program from Ascad Networks are final (exception: 30-day money back guarantee). No refunds will be issued once you have received your copy of the program unless it is not compatible with your server. Please see the following three sections for more information of the issuing of refunds and money back guarantees.

Terms and Conditions: These terms and conditions have been included within the AdPass ZIP file. It is the customer's responsibility to keep these terms and conditions on his/her local computer. In the event that a dispute should arise, the customer will have to provide an official copy of the terms and conditions in the same PDF format that was included in the ZIP file at the time of purchase. Should the customer not be able to provide these terms and conditions, the most recent version, located on this web site, will be used to settle the dispute.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee: A 30-day back money guarantee applies to users who tested the software but found it incompatible with their servers. Only issues technical in nature will receive a refund. An Ascad Networks technician must ensure that the program does not work due to problems technical in nature (I.E.: server incompatibility) before a refund will be issued. No refunds at all will be issued after thirty days.

Refunds for purchases with paid installation: If AdPass is purchased with professional installation and a refund is later requested which falls within the guidelines of these terms and conditions (see 30-Day Money Back Guarantee), Ascad Networks will refund the full price of your program and one-half of the installation fee, with the other half being retained for the time spent by our technicians on the installation.

Refunds for purchases without installation: In the case that an Ascad Networks technician confirms that AdPass is not compatible with your server, a full refund will be issued by the Ascad Networks. Once a refund has been issued, users will be required to remove all copies of the program located on their server and/or local computer.

Program Ownership
Upon making a payment in full, Ascad Networks signs over rights-of-usage for your license(s). Password Protector always remains copyrighted to Ascad Networks and users may never distribute or resell the product in breach of their license. License information is included within the AdPass ZIP file.

Professional Installation Information
If you choose to purchase professional FTP installation, your web site's FTP information will be required by Ascad Networks' staff in order to perform the installation. This information is submitted either during your account registration after making a payment or through email to cgi@ascadnetworks.com.

Web site FTP information will be kept by Ascad Networks behind a protected directory inaccessible to the general public for up to one week in the event that support requests should arise, after which it is deleted. If you do not wish to have your FTP information logged after initial installation, you will need to contact Ascad Networks and request that it be deleted immediately upon installation completion.

Included in the professional installation package is the installation of a single copy of the program. Installation entails the uploading and permission setting of the program's files to your server and the subsequent testing of the registration and log in systems to ensure proper functionality. Installation does not include HTML or email template editing of any sort.

Users without a basic conception of CGI programs, FTP file uploading, permission setting (CHMOD), and FTP transfer modes (Binary/ASCII) are recommended to purchase professional installation with their copy of AdPass.
